Maria Pelekhova is an artist, painter, animator, and educator who was born and raised in Penza, Russia. In 2018, she completed her professional studies at the Penza Art School. Maria received her degree in animation from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in 2014. She started teaching composition and painting at the school in her hometown of Penza that same year.

Maria Pelekhova is a young, gifted, and creatively busy artist who works nonstop. She travels widely around the nation and paints landscapes that serve as her travel journal, a one-of-a-kind keepsake, and a memory of vivid, unforgettable events. She also experiments with digital painting, producing images for artistic and musical creations. Maria also works as a production designer and storyboard artist for films and music videos at the Mosfilm studio.

Maria Pelikhova has participated in many exhibitions, including solo ones. When Marin was 13 years old and enrolled in a children's art school, she had her first exhibition of her artwork.
