"Natalia's fascination with the theme of time, the inextricable connection of the past, present, and future, is evident in her work. Images of dream guards wielding ancient weapons, mysterious reptiles guarding the eternal secrets of space, and horses personifying the run to the unknown source of the world represent a kind of revelation of the future through dreams and visions"

Natalia's fascination with the theme of time, the inextricable connection of the past, present, and future, is evident in her work. Images of dream guards wielding ancient weapons, mysterious reptiles guarding the eternal secrets of space, and horses personifying the run to the unknown source of the world represent a kind of revelation of the future through dreams and visions. Despite their subconscious nature, dreams often interpret the past in the present, create expressive images, and serve as a powerful tool for understanding feelings, thoughts, and events that occur in a person's life. The author's rethinking of reality through the interweaving of dreams, myths, legends, memories, and figurative associations creates a mysterious and enigmatic world that captivates and surprises.
True art is an insight to a universe beyond the bounds of logic and science. This universe vanishes into the mists of fantasies and imagination, ant it takes on shapes and hues that merely serve to outline the contours of the human experience. Fantastical images and creatures mix together in Natalia Shapovalova's exhibition "Mystery of Time," creating new spaces and allowing us to investigate and comprehend our own perceptions and sentiments on a deep level. Each work of the artist serves as an invitation to a complex internal dialogue, paving the path for in-depth philosophical contemplations.
