"The artist’s paintings always contain a deep meaning and require remarkable abilities from the viewer to comprehend the encrypted thought of the author. This is in fact a game process in which the author himself is in the process of creating a work and invites the viewer to dive into the world of imagination"
Alexander Nekrashevich's (b. 1973) creativity invariably arouses interest among intellectual connoisseurs of art, and every exhibition of his works, no matter where it takes place, at home or abroad, always becomes a bright event in the cultural life of Belarus, because he is one of the most talented Belarusians contemporary artists.
Gifted by nature with a sharp, ironic mind and impeccable artistic taste, he mastered his visual language skill. As a result, the artist acquired complete freedom in the technique of embodying the most incredible ideas and intricate plots.
The artist graduated the Akhremchik Republican College of Arts (1991) and the Belarusian State Academy of Arts (1997) with a degree in Monumental and Decorative Art. Apparently, his degree fully corresponded to his way of thinking and the scale of his personality.
Alexander Nekrashevich has been a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists since 2004. His paintings were exhibited in Lithuania, Ukraine, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Germany, and Monaco.
Regardless of the topic, the artist’s paintings always contain a deep meaning and require remarkable abilities from the viewer to comprehend the encrypted thought of the author. This is in fact a game process in which the author himself is in the process of creating a work and invites the viewer to dive into the world of imagination.
This exhibition contains fragments of different series of paintings made at different times, but still relevant today. All series are complex and multidimensional. They are different, but they are united by the author’s style of miniature precision of monumental forms, by his specific style techniques of unexpected transformation and kaleidoscopic rotation.
