Katherine Filyuta is a gifted artist with a brilliant and multifaceted talent that manifests in various types of fine arts.

Her extraordinary creative personality was largely influenced by her social environment. She was born (1960) into the Lutsevich family; the father was a famous teacher at the Art School, and the mother was a costume designer of the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus.

At the beginning of her creative career, Katherine appeared before an audience as a master of decorative and applied arts. With maximum imagination and ingenuity, she created original clothes, unique jewelry, and interior items while working with leather.

The artist’s next serious hobby was working on the interior. Among the most famous of her design projects are the design of the Fugin restaurant and the Beaumonde boutique in Minsk. The competent realization of her ideas lay in her professional education acquired at the Minsk College of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Higher School of Culture in St. Petersburg.

The manifestation and revelation of Katherine’s painting talent occurred gradually in overcoming doubts, but contemplating her paintings, you don’t even know about it. You can feel an overflowing energy in her artworks, splashing out the joy of creative inspiration on the canvas.
